Year One and Two performed a production all about Christmas and when Jesus Christ was born. In the performance, there were inspectors who inspected the Little Town of Bethlehem . Did it pass the test?
At the start of the performance, there was a bustle of people in Bethlehem when all of a sudden a group of INSPECTORS ( DUN DUN DUN! ) came out and checked all of the famous inns in Bethlehem. At one of the inns, two very special people, ( Mary and Joseph) asked if they could stay to have their special baby. Unfortunately, there was no room at the inn, however there was a small bit of room in the stable and the kind inn owner let them stay, so that is where they went. The INSPECTORS ( DUN DUN DUN!) came and went down to the stable. They were outraged as people should not be staying in a stable! Once all of the people came: The Wise Men, The Shepherds and the angels, the inspectors realised that if it was suitable for a king to be born, it was suitable for anyone and so the Innkeeper was okay. It was a brilliant performance and we really enjoyed the added drama of the inspectors. Well done KS1!
