On Friday the 11th of January, 1G did a fantastic assembly all about the four seasons that are in a year. The first season was Winter! We all knew what winter was about after they shared with us lots of interesting facts. The coldest season starts in December and ends in February. They said, “You need to wrap up warm in a coat, hat and gloves.”
They then moved on to talk about the season spring. First they explained that “It rains and then sun comes out,” but then they also warned us not to put our rain coats away just yet! The reason they explained about that was to remind you what to expect and what spring in our country is all about!
The summer time was their favourite one to talk about because they can go out to beaches and go for a swim in the pool. They loved how it was really warm outside and that they got to go to the farm. They told us all about farm animals. Then at the end they sang a song called”He’s got the whole world in his hands”.
What a lovely assembly. Well done 1G!
