Year 6 netball competition

On Thursday, some pupils in Year 6 went to Hanson School for a Netball Competition with some other local schools including: Low Ash, Idle , Wellington, Cavendish, Rainbow, Feversham, Peel Park, Byron, Barkerend and Killinghall.

When we got to Hanson, we had to wait for about an hour because one off the team were running late but we just started without them and got the winning points. They eventually arrived but we were leaving so they didn’t even get a match!

All of the matches we played, we won and we supported all of the other opponents and congrats them at the end of all of the matches. We had umpires that blew the whistle if we had done something wrong , it was half time or at the end of the match .

We had a treat to get there because we travelled in Mrs Russell’s, Mrs Keighley’s or Mrs Corbridge’s car. At the end of all of the matches, all 6 of us got in a car to wait for our parents to get there. It was really cold but all of the team enjoyed themselves and showed some great teamwork.
