This week, Year 4 have been on a residential , for 3 days , to the fabulous Nell Bank and the went from Monday 8th April to Wednesday 10th April. Luckily, they got to come to school in non-uniform but they had to drag around either a bag or a suit case. They set off at around 11:00 am, they climbed on a double decker bus for their journey that would last for about an hour. To save them from dying from boredom, they could play different games like: I spy, Thumb war, 21 and many more.
When they arrived, they split into groups of boys and girls and they got of one team at a time and while they waited they learnt a song. The suit case were loaded onto the ground and they were told take their own suit cases inside. They were told the groups that they would in and then shown to their rooms where they would be spending time in for two nights. Once they were settled in and chosen their beds they were told what they would be doing and how to do it.
At the end their teacher said “they really enjoyed it and everyone put 100% effort into everything”. Also before they left Nell Bank they had to sit down and awards were given out to people who did well and tried their very hardest. The children had a fantastic time and their teachers were very proud of them! What a great trip!
