Safer Internet Day – free community event

An event to help people stay safe online is taking place in Manningham on Tuesday, 6 February. The aim is to educate people about online safety and help people avoid cyber-crime including phishing, vishing and hacks.

The event is aimed at members of the community and CDWs (community development workers) but everyone is welcome.
The event has been developed as part of a new ‘Digital and Financial Inclusion’ project in a partnership between:
• Bradford District Credit Union
• Bradford Council
• Barclays Bank Manningham Branch
• Carers Resource
• Carlisle Business centre
The event aims to help people stay safe online and give people information about applying for benefits online.

Registration is essential.
Those with internet access can register on Eventbrite: Safer Internet Day (Bradford) 2018.
People without internet access can fill in a registration form at any of the following places:
• Credit Union in Bradford City Hall,
• Barclays Manningham Branch
• Carlisle Business Centre
• Keighley Town Hall

Art of Christmas

Learners have embraced the Christmas spirit and designed Christmas cards for their own children. During Christmas their children will be busy making cards for them so they decided to surprise them and make one for them.

A fun time was had by all!
