Year 4 Habitat Walk

Well done year 4 on a very squelchy, sloppy habitats walk. Wherever you go in the holidays keep looking at organisms in their habitats.

Mrs Oates

Nell Bank

Year 3 had a wonderful day at Nell Bank and I think we were all a little sad to leave. Here are some photos of the activities we did. What was your favourite activity?

Nell Bank World Record Breaker

Daniel in 3B demonstrated unbelievable strength and gymnastic ability to break the Nell Bank record for the most consecutive monkey bar swings. He managed 135!

Thank you Mrs Corser…

Parents and children said a fond farewell to Mrs Corser as the Chair of the Hothfield Parent’s Group.  We presented Mrs Corser with a lovely plant, a silk painting and some garden vouchers for her to spend.  Thank you Mrs Corser – we all appreciate all you have done for Hothfield children over the years.

Hothfield’s Got Talent..

image

Wow!  What talent we have at Hothfield!  Well done to all eight acts who performed to the whole school this afternoon – everyone was so impressed by the practice you had put in to entertain us so well.  Our panel of judges had such a tough decision to come up with an overall winner – well done to Eliza who sang her heart out to take the overall trophy.

What was your favourite piece of music? Would you like to learn to play one of the instruments that Charlotte played?
