Speaking the Words of Shakespeare…

Year 6 have been working with the Young Shakespeare Company on Shakespeare’s play ‘Twelfth Night’.  What are your favourite words from the play, Year 6?

Amazing Athletes

A record number of Hothfield children in Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in the first of the Keighley Schools Cross Country League races on Wednesday 24.9.14.
The  lovely autumn sunshine made for perfect running conditions and Cliffe Castle looked beautiful.  There was a great atmosphere and all 28 children showed tremendous resilience and enthusiasm as they tackled the hilly and twisting course.   A special well done to the Year 4 children, who were competing for the first time.   We’re looking forward to the 2nd race in November.  Well done to them all from Mr Carey and Miss Woffenden.
