Year 5’s ‘Tail of The Paws and The Claws’

A massive thank you to everyone who came to watch our fabulous Year 5 children perform their ‘Paws and Claws’ production over the last couple of days.

And, more importantly, WELL DONE to all of the children who worked so hard to make it a success. You were all fantastic!

We hope you really enjoyed all the acting, singing, dancing, poetry, prop-making, lights, music and other backstage work! We have been so impressed with how you all rose to the difficult challenge we set you.

Anyway, I’m so worn out that I think I’ll go for a (very long) catnap…

Mr P (on behalf of the two Mrs Cs as well!)

PS Hopefully we’ll have some photos to put up soon.

Learning About the World of Work

Our Year 6 children took part in a Careers Day workshop on Monday morning.  Children were able to work with a variety of employers from our Silsden community and learn about the skills they were looking for and a taste of the job.  The session really helped to reinforce for our children the link between the values and skills we instil in Hothfield pupils and those that employers seek…  Hothfield 51 Experiences No.42: Finding out about the jobs people do in our community…IMG_20150518_094626485 IMG_20150518_094557669 IMG_20150518_094541560
