Hothfield’s final leavers assembly

We all enjoyed a fantastic assembly from our year 6’s today. They shared all their favourite memories from over the years at our school reminding us just how much they have all grown up.  Everything from aliens crash landing in the playground, art projects, porridge and school productions – what an amazing 4 years they have had.  Read More

Our last ever Hothfield Junior School leavers

Good luck to all our Year 6 students as they embark upon their secondary school adventures. We’re all very proud of you and wish you all the very best!

6Penyghent’s Art Work

6 Pen-y-ghent’s fantastic artwork in the last week of term is testimony to their hard work throughout the year.  They have been a wonderful class, lively, interesting and thoughtful to the last.  Well done all.  We’ll miss you.

5 Saturn Signing Off…

Responsibility and relationships have been the words of the day in 5 Saturn as we enter our final week.

The children are putting the finishing touches to their wonderful ‘Land of Neverbelieve’ English projects showing how well they can work independently and responsibly. And in computing, the class welcomed our Y1 friends from Swallows this morning to join us to play the simple and fun addition games we have created in coding lessons. The Y1 children all really enjoyed the session, in large part due to way that the class welcomed, and looked after, them. It was great to see so many fantastic relationships skills on show!

Well done Saturn this year – you have shown real effort to develop so that you are ready to take on the challenges of Year 6!
Best of luck to you all,
Mr Pickering
