A poem by Josh F, 6S

Read my poem about Kensuke’s Kingdom and tell me if you like it?

5F’s stories inspired by their clayyourself avatars.

5F used their avatars as characters in a story.

What do you think of these stories?

Flip Boom Animation

This week Year 3 are looking at an animation called FlipBoom.

We are able to draw in one frame, duplicate it and continue the story we want to tell the audience. This is the first week looking at this programme.  We hope to make some really good animations.  Later on we may be able to post them for you to view.

Do plants need soil to grow?

3B are investigating whether cress needs soil to grow?

They have designed a fair test to see whether cress can grow on sand, cotton wool, paper towel or nothing.

What do you think will happen?

3B doing greens and pinks on their adventure stories.

3B want to say thankyou to 5F for sharing how to do greens and pinks with them.

We are getting better at it and are learning quickly.

Kensuke’s Kingdom

As part of our Summer of Sport learning, year 6 will be reading, discussing and reflecting upon Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo.  We’d like year 6 to keep posting blogs to express your thinking as we read – those who know the book, please don’t give anything away.

Have you read any other Michael Morpurgo books?

We’d love all of you out there to say which you’ve enjoyed and why?
