Children in 5HC chose Billionaire Boy by David Walliams as their book if the week.

The book tells the story of a 12 year old billionaire called Joe Spud. He has everything money can buy, but unfortunately no friends to share them with, so Joe changes schools to try and find himself a friend.

4B’s book of the week


Children from 4B chose George’s Marvellous Medicine as their Book of the Week.

They chose the book because it is a really funny story and “it tells you how to get rid of your Grandma’s if they annoy you”. Watch out Grandmas.

Hothfield’s book of the week

3I recommended Angel of Nitshill Road by Anne Fine as their book of the week because “it makes you think about things you don’t normally think about” and is “funny”.
