Year 5 The Deep Residential

We’ve had an action packed day today.

First we visited Bridlington, had fish and chips and played on the beach.

Then we arrived at the Deep and had a personal tour.

Next we ate our evening meal then it was on to more fun activities. We’ve made our own badges and decorated a T-shirt.

Then there was just time to make up our beds before lights out. Most of us are now sleeping or quietly watching the sharks swim by.

Good night!

Elterwater Day Two

Day Two sees us split into two groups and set off on low level walks with expansive views of the Lake District, on a clear day, and Gill Scrambling. Gill Scrambling is a step up from the Scrambling of Ingleborough – this is full on climbing up a Gill in full flow and is amazing to be a part of. The children really challenge themselves and are so satisfied to have completed the day. Later in the evening we will visit the Mountain Rescue Centre for a talk about the work they do and we get to use the equipment and see the vehicles.
