The Tenacious Turtles have been learning the order of the planets from the sun.
To help us remember them we created rhymes and using acrostic poems. Can you use our rhymes to learn the order or could you create your own?
Fantastic performances at Horsfall Stadium saw Nikola win 3rd place in the U9 girls and the U9 team picking up silver. Tyler finished second in the U11 boys and Rabana and Alisha both medalling in the U11 girls with a first and third place. A group of 10 children have been exploring what it means to go to Forest Schools and what sorts of things they would like to do when they are there.
We played some games to get to know each other better, came up with some ideas of how we think we should behave and also some ideas of what we would like to do.
Then the fun started……
We got to explore, use our imaginations and invent games using things that we found!
