St Paul’s Easter Service

We had a wonderful Easter service in church today.

We are particularly proud of the children who read the Easter story and the prayers. They did a fabulous job!

Well done to all the classes for making the wonderful things that were given to Thierry throughout the service and for singing their little hearts out. It was amazing!

Thank you to all the parents, carers, family and friends who attended. We hope you enjoyed it too and look forward to seeing you again soon.

RE and Science in Year 4

Year 4 children and teachers would like to give a great big THANK YOU to Olivia and Harveer for leading parts of our lessons this week. Olivia brought in her Guinea pig and taught us how to look after it. Harveer talked about Sikhism and showed us the bracelets and magnet he bought from his visit to the Golden Temple.

Well done to you both.

Mrs Hallworth, Mr Collier, Mr Daynes and Mrs Rashid

Harvest Festival

This morning we celebrated Harvest Festival in church and what a wonderful service it was!!

A big THANK YOU goes to all the children and staff involved but also to all the parents, carers, relatives and friends who attended the service and to all the people who contributed to amazing donations brought in for Bradford Food Bank.

Each class sang wonderfully well, the readers had lovely clear voices and the members of the choir sang their little hearts out!

Here are a few pictures of this memorable service.

Thank you, everyone!

E-Safety Coffee Morning (THIS FRIDAY)

As you are aware internet safety is a key issue for most parents and schools in this ever changing and technology driven world. The NSPCC state, 1 in 4 children have experienced something upsetting on a social networking site” and 1 in 3 children have been a victim of cyber-bullying”

We want to keep the children at St.Paul’s as safe as possible online. On Friday, PCSO Luke Carson has been invited to present some information to parents and carers about children’s safety online. All parents and carers are welcome to come and hear ways in which we can keep children safe and also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

The coffee morning will start at 8:45 and there will be refreshments. Please let us know if you would like to attend by returning the slip on the letter, phoning or calling in at the office or commenting below.

Thank you

Respect for Sacred Objects

This morning we learnt how different faiths show respect for their sacred objects and places of worship.

Thank you to my little helpers who did a fantastic job!

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to these Year 5 and 6 children who had their First Holy Communion at church, either on Sunday or today.

The children also received a special certificate, it was signed by the Bishop and they were given a special bible from Theirry as a present.

The Caravan & When I Grow Up

Year six performed an assembly this morning for their parents and the children in key stage two. This was all their own work based on the different things they have been learning this half term. There have been a lot of children poorly this week, so the class did really well to put this together.

Here is the performance of our class story – The Caravan. It is followed by the performance of ‘When I Grow Up’ which the children learnt with two teachers from BBEC earlier in the year:

Well done year six, I thought you were excellent this morning and you made me very proud!

Mr Platt 🙂
