The snowman that came to life

During the past few days, lots of snow has fallen. On Sunday, Miss Cox decided to make a snowman in her front garden. With pebble eyes and a carrot nose, Miss Cox felt proud of her creation.
Unfortunately, on Monday morning when she looked out of her window, the snowman had gone! No evidence was on the floor to suggest that the snowman had melted and no human footprints surrounded the location. Where had the snowman gone? Who was he looking for? How did he manage to move from the garden?
