On Tuesday the 20th of November, 1W and 1G were treated with an amazing trip to Abbey House Museum.
To begin with, they visited the toy museum where they looked around and were totally gobsmacked at how boring the toys were back in the day and how dusty they were! Then came the extra exciting part, the toy workshops, with ladies who explained the difference between old and new toys and how totally different the older toys are from what we get now.
Later on, they visited the many old streets and houses where people once lived. They all learnt that old toys were made from metal or wood. All the children really enjoyed the day and so did all the teachers. “The next year 1 will really enjoy it!” People quoted.
