This Thursday, Year 3 went on a trip to the Industrial Museum. When they got off the coach, they entered the museum and met up with a woman called Piper who led 3R upstairs to learn how to turn wool into clothes while 3Ro looked around outside and drew something that caught their eye such as buildings that were made in the 1800’s. The activities that 3R completed were pretend sheep shaving, spinning wool, weaving wool, combing wool, sorting wool and carding wool (you could say they were in a woolly situation!) Once they finished their activities 3RO met up with 3R to go and have lunch. Then,3R looked outside and did the activities that 3RO had done before and then Mrs Robert’s class did the wool activities.
Altogether everyone had a great day and had learnt a lot of new information about the 1800’s and industrial Bradford.
