4H Class Assembly

Today, 4H came down to the hall to show Blakehill how much fun they had at their trip to Nell Bank.

Firstly, they set the scene by playing the Countryfile music and welcomed the other classes. Everyone knew that this was going to be a fun assembly indeed.

They talked about all of the exciting things they did. One of the things they did was pond dipping. When they were pond dipping, they found many fascinating creatures such as newts, snails and other bugs and amphibians.

Next up, the presenters introduced the the mini-beast hunting. When they went mini-beast hunting, they had to look for any sort of bug or creature (including toads!) Everyone was keeping their eyes on lookout for anything that could catch their eye. They all agreed that it was a fun session and they couldn’t wait for what else they were doing on this fun residential.

Next, they had lunch and made their way to the jam-packed adventure playground. They told the other children about the parts of the playground whilst showing the different parts on the projector. At the adventure playground, you could do almost anything! You could run, jump, climb, crawl, absolutely anything!

After they had used up all of their energy, they went to their dorms and got themselves ready for their dinner.

According to a recap one of the children wrote, you could have sausage and mash or chicken. Everyone was very jealous of this.

We all liked how they presented their work and their activities like a TV show and we were all very impressed my their hard work and effort.
