Blakehill Parents Evening

Tuesday and Thursday, were the days of parents evening. On these days, parents could come in and to talk to their child’s teachers to see what they have been doing in class. They also had the chance to discuss how hard their child has been working and if there was anything else they could do to help.

The teachers had very kindly put the children’s books on a desk outside the classroom so the parents could look at their book whilst they were waiting. In some classes, they had the floor book out to look at what exciting things the children have been doing.

After their wait, they could go in and the teachers talked about a range of things. Often, they talked about how their home reading was going, word mountains and TT rock stars.
