On Friday, 3Ro preformed an outstanding assembly all about the Industrial Revolution. We were all sat in our seat waiting for the excitement to happen.
First, a set of children did a little performance about what people had to do and for how long. There was one family where there was a little boy who wondered why he had to do his job which he didn’t like. It was a fair point!
When they got to work, one person had to sort the wool out, another person had to comb through the tangled wool and the last person had to weave the wool. The factories were always really loud and busy so they wouldn’t be a great place to work.
We all enjoyed it and we all walked out of the assembly with an amazing song to leave which was called the hard knock life.
