Summer Reading Challenge 2021 – Bradford Libraries

There’s still time to join this year’s Summer Reading Challenge 2021 – Wild World Heroes

This year’s theme, in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund, will inspire children to celebrate nature and wildlife, think about the environment and explore ways of standing up for the planet. Hundreds of Bradford children have registered at their local library onto the Summer Reading Challenge 2021. Why not come along and join them. The FUN continues until Saturday 24th September. For children 4 to 12 years-old, it’s free to join with a library card and is available at all libraries within the Bradford district (via Order and Collect or visiting in-person).Children participating will receive a Wild World Heroes kit bag, complete with reading poster, stickers and bookmark. The challenge is to read between one and six library books during the summer, with all children participating receiving a Wild World Heroes Certificate and Medal in September via their school. This is a great opportunity to encourage children to read for pleasure during the summer holidays and offers a fun activity to support reading catch-up after a difficult year. For more information visit www.bradford.gov.uk/libraries
