What have 3B learnt about Sikh naming ceremonies?

Can 3B children post a comment containing any information that they have learnt about Sikh naming ceremonies?

    I have learned that they open a book and the first letter on the first page will be the letter that starts the baby’s name and if its a boy you will call it Singh as well as its uther name and if its a girl you will name it kaur as well as its uther name
