Oakbank football competition.

Hothfield’s under 11 team played in a competition this evening. They played 6 matches, winning 5 and drawing 1.

As a result they have qualified for the playoffs evening in November.

Well done Callum, Sam, Lola, Michael, Lewis, Joe, Josh L, Josh E and Harvey.

Bananas in his ears!


Great to be with poet Michael Rosen today… He’s one of our favourites at Hothfield… We all love ‘A little boy came down to breakfast with bananas stuck in his ears…’

Oakbank u11’s girls football

Last night we took part in a competition at Oakbank school. We played 4 matches and won all 4, scoring 16 goals and conceding none.

We have qualified for the playoffs which are due to take place in November.

New year 5’s found a new Hothfielder!

Welcome back to our new school year! At lunchtime today our new year 5’s found and rescued a rather large caterpillar in our playground. Can anyone tell me what type of caterpillar this is? Will it turn into a moth or a butterfly?
