Ebony, Lola, Mia, Marissa, Chloe, Rianna and Annabelle represented us.

We finished 2nd in our group out of 7 teams but unfortunately didn’t qualify for the semi finals.

We drew 0-0 with Baildon, beat Allerton 1-0 (Chloe), beat Steeton 2-0 (Chloe and Annabelle), beat Lees 1-0 (Annabelle), lost 2-0 to Thackley and beat Fagley 1-0 (Annabelle).

All of our players can be proud of their performances tonight, each girl gave it their all and really enjoyed playing. The future of girls football at Hothfield looks bright.

3I shared the Beastquest series of books with us in assembly.

Have you ever read one of these books? Which would you recommend and why?

Hothfield’s book of the week

3I recommended Angel of Nitshill Road by Anne Fine as their book of the week because “it makes you think about things you don’t normally think about” and is “funny”.

Barry is a bully, one day a girl arrives at his school. Can she be a real angel?

You can find the book in our library if you would like to read it.

Christmas Shop

A huge thank you to the Hothfield Parents’ Group and Volunteers for their amazing support throughout the year.

Particularly for Chair of the Parents’ Group, Mrs Mortimer whom organises the Christmas Shop and sourced all the 150 presents that the children purchased.

Many children returned from the Christmas Shop excited that they were able to purchase a ‘special’ present and have it all wrapped up.

Number Day @Hothfield

Today we are celebrating NUMBERS.

Photographs and updates will be added.
