This half-term, Year 5 are lucky enough to have 6 PE sessions delivered by a coach from local rugby league side Keighley Cougars.
The first of these was held this week and enjoyed by all! The children learnt how to handle the ball, both by the ‘belly’ and the ‘ears’, and to play the ball behind them with their foot after a tackle.
We’re looking forward to the remaining sessions and to the tag rugby tournament on 6 April (at Cougar Park).
