Films for the classroom

This is where we share a selection of films that can be used in the classroom. These films can be used with the classroom materials on the resources page.

First, here are the most useful sites that have collections of films to use in class.

The Literacy Shed has an amazing collection of films to use in class. Films are grouped by genre and also have details of how they can be used in lessons. A-Z of films. Huge collection of short films. Denotes whether the film contains dialogue or not. Not all films are suitable for Primary School children.

8   1/2 has suggestions of films to buy for children to watch. It doesn’t stream the films from it’s site.
