Have a look at the following websites and see if you can research places to visit and activities that would be appropriate to do.
If you aren’t in Year 6 and you know some good places to visit please let us know.

I’m really looking forward to our visit to Elterwater! I wonder what activities the children will suggest? (I hope it’s nothing to do with heights though.)
The Brockhole visitor centre has a great adventure playground (and a lovely cafe too).

Sure it will happen, and another thing are all the great walks and adventures including:the instant changes of wether, the high cliffs, the wet tarns and rivers (like Red Tarn and Skickle Tarn!!), the great cafe’s (I recomend the one called Chesters!!) There are amazing things to discover in the Lake District, and if you want to know a bit more about it just ask me!! I don’t do heights!!!!
In Langdale there is a place called Stickle Tarn and there is a water fall type thing where I went because I go every year and schools around the area go Goerge Scrambling I’ve done it before and the man who does it is a profestional.
The mans office is called stickle barn.I think we will really enjoy it.
Katie has mentioned that as part of a family holiday we took last year she enjoyed gorge scrambling.
She has asked that I forward information regarding the company that offers this activity (plus much more) for your perusal.
The companies website address is :
http://www.mountainguides.co.uk/scrambling/gorge-scrambling/
I can highly recommend this company as I have used their guiding services for many years.
They are located within Elterwater and are well equipped.
Hope we can do what everybody wants to do!! 🙂
