Remembrance Day and descriptive writing

on November 11, 2016

In Year 6, we’ve been writing a description of Scrooge from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. We thought about his appearance, the way he walks and his personality.

We have a celebrity in the class! Lily created a wreath of poppies with the school logo and her name in the middle. She has been in the newspaper! img_0047 img_0050

In Y6 we have been learning about A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens so we have been describing Scrooge from the story. Hope you enjoy.

Grace did this very descriptive piece of writing about Scrooge. Even the first sentence makes me want to read more. What about you?

Allthough short, it is a really descriptive so say a big well done in the comments to Lucy.

Everyone has tried hard but Thomas has included lots of descriptive language about Ebenezer Scrooge.

Annie’s writing is always interesting but this is beyond interesting. Her work is always excellent and this is no exception.

Although short, Lucy’s work was really descriptive so say a big well done in the comments!

Amber has written an excellent piece of work with very good adjectives.

Hope you enjoyed reading our blog, from Oliver, Amber, Lucy, Harry and Charlotte.
