Acting Headteacher – Christmas

on December 16, 2016

Well that went quick!

What a first term it’s been and while at times the days can seem long individually the time seems to have flown between September and December.

This morning we had our Carol service up at church and it was wonderful to hear the children singing the carols, accompanied on the church organ and with the parent voices joining in as well, it will stay long in my memory.

I want to say thank you to all the people who have attended our Christmas events for respecting the wishes of school and not taking photographs. We are establishing ways in which we can take individual photos of children at these events and group photos that can be shared. In the modern world a photo taken and shared can be around the world in an instant and this poses serious issues for us in regards safeguarding all of our children. So once again, many thanks for your cooperation and for keeping our school environment a safe place for all.

Finally for this week I want to say thank you to all the staff involved with the school. There is so much more put in than just turning up for work and I am very privileged to work with such a committed group of people, all working above and beyond, for the benefit of the children.

Enjoy the holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
