A slightly shorter blog this week to go with the slightly shorter title!

Thank you for you messages of goodwill at my appointment as Headteacher, it really is a privilege to work here.

There are some great contributions to the blog this week from the children, please do take a look and comment when you get the chance – Year Three and Five have been busy today preparing their work.

We have had the local cross country races at Silsden and also the County cross country race which some of our children were invited to. Some even did the double! Year One visited the nature area and were making wands to grant wishes and Reception Class also visited the Co-op and made vegetable super heroes which were just amazing! Year four have got an exercise bike in the classroom ready for the big pedal if you are riding to school in the next couple of weeks make sure you take care, wear a helmet and bring a lock for your bike.

The parent invitation dates went out last week on the newsletter so if you missed them please check on the website for a copy, they have also been added to the school calendar on the website.
That’s all from me for now, have a great weekend.
