Remembrance Day Year 6 & Reception

Last week, Year 6 and Reception class worked together to produce a fantastic Remembrance Day display to celebrate 100 years since the end of WW1.

The children in both classes worked together to produce lots of poppies using paint, tissue paper, crayons and felt tips. We then joined them altogether on the silhouette of a soldier.

Year 2 also kindly contributed their poppies in the shape of 100.

Well done to everyone involved. I am so proud of this amazing tribute.

Remembrance Day

This afternoon, year 6 had the honour of placing crosses by the graves of soldiers in St Paul’s Churchyard. They also took the opportunity to visit any family members who have been laid to rest in there.
